World Book Day 2021
World Book Day, 4th March 2021 - celebrating books and reading

The more that you READ, the more things you will KNOW.
The more that you LEARN, the more places you will GO.
Dr Seuss
World Book Day is an annual event, led by UNESCO, and is focused on children to encourage a love of reading. The day is a celebration of everything to do with books - from the authors and illustrators to the children who read them. Children of all ages come together to celebrate reading, having the chance to dress up as their favourite literary character on the day.
Due to the pandemic things will be different this year but that doesn't mean the children can't dress up and enjoy the day, whether they are in school or at home. Please post their photographs on our Facebook page and we will award prizes for the best costumes.
